2mbps download on Unleashed Plan

Currently I am only receiving 2mbps download speed on your Unleashed plan. You promise up to 100mbps, yet us customers never see anywhere near that. it’s currently only 4 days into my billing cycle so obviously i haven’t crossed your “data limit” of 850gb, so I should be sustaining a MINIMUM of 20mbps at all times, yet here we go with the throttling anyway. Why is it being so slow? Are you purposely throttling people so that they never see the speeds they pay for?

I was going to download something that was only a single GB and it was going to take over 4 HOURS!!! That’s ridiculous.

I’m sorry about this experience you’re currently having with Viasat.

I checked your setup and this seems not like a technical fault, but an issue regarding the way your plan works. Your data usage is consistently more than a typical residential user on our network.

Whenever you have some time, please give the Customer Care agents a call at 855-463-9333. They will be able to explain this further, as our Forum team doesn’t deal with Account/Billing in-depth.
