Does the satellite dish need realignment?

I just had my roof replaced and the roofers removed and replaced my dish. At first it did not seem to be working, but now it appears to work if the weather is not cloudy. Can you verify whether the dish is still properly aligned without having a tech come out?

Hi @memesq

Yes, I can see straight away on your account that the removal of the dish caused an antenna mispoint – that’s the normal behavior.

Whenever you need the dish moved to another place (or just taken out and put back in the same place), it’s best to have a service technician do it for you, so he can do the repointing process at the same time.

Can you check if it’s possible to self-repoint the antenna by following this guide?
