Initially contracted the 50mps service as a single user but faced strong issues with glitches and delays. Assumed it was weather and requirement of MS Teams. Increased to the 75mos service but still facing issues. Download running between 30 and 75 but upload as low as 0.3. At 0.3 most software failing.
Complained and a technician tuned the satellite gain and checked all cables, modem and installation.
Temporally upload increased to 2.5mps. But after few hours back to 0.3.
Called service and arrogant person at service centre told me repeatedly “no guarantee” and i should only listen to the “new” unlimited service. Nothing to fix the issue that may exist with the equipment or something. No help at all!! Refused to talk to me after i raised my voice after this being the 10th call to report and issue with the Viasat service….
Very upset as cannot work from home.

I see that now the download speed is faster over 90mps now but the upload speed remains at about 0.2 to 0.3 mps…
Do you think that is possible to adjust or there could be something wrong with the device? It was having issues from installation on upload. I assumed weather or traffic from the Microsoft software but measuring it see always the upload issue.

I was expecting the change I made to improve upload speeds as well, so if that did not improve I’ll escalate the issue to other teams to investigate other potential issues.

The download speed is faster and for a day or so the upload was 4mbs. But just tested now and download is 40 to 50 but upload is now zero…
Any help really appreciated.

Not sure what is going on now. Just tested with Viasat speed test and now download is only 1.2 mps and upload is 0.2mps.

Sorry for the slow reply.
We’ve been investigating your account for a while now, and it seems there is no underlying cause for your slow upload speeds. According to our analysis, your internet setup doesn’t have any inherent issues.
However, the bad speeds might be caused by network congestion during the peak busy periods. We recommend connecting fewer devices to your network, not using VPN, and connecting your device via Ethernet cable if possible – and also to keep a close watch on your high-speed (priority) data cap. If you run out of priority data, your traffic is not prioritized, and you might see slower rates too, especially during the peak busy periods.

I just tested beside the modem. Download is ok it is upload that is the issue and always has been. Most systems I use need to talk back and at present I tested 0.4 & 0.5 mbs upload.
I have only 1 TV and 1 mobile. The TV is connected via cable connected Deco Mesh system - dual band. My apple phone is the only other device.
I get fails on signal due to failed upload. Even Disney+ loses signal and that is supposed to be seamless with the streaming device that is installed and is meant to reduce signal load.
Would appreciate a call to discuss.
