Very slow speeds

Will say for as much as this service cost the speeds are terrible no videos like to load on streaming platforms and what i use to watch them on are hard wired to the modem so they should have no issue i have not seen either my download or upload speeds go above 2 mbs

I saw there was an instability with your signal on 14 June, but now it seems back to normal.

I did some speed tests and I saw better speeds:

Could you run some speed tests and give us feedback?

In order to have a full analysis, you will have to use the Viasat browser and log in using your “My Viasat” credentials.



These have been the fastest i have seen but still paying foe 30mbs i should be getting more

According to one of the speed tests you sent us, there was another process running at the same time, consuming half of the bandwidth:

That red bar indicates “other usage”, which means something was running together with the speed test. That other process was using half of the available speed at that moment (around 20mbps).

If you want and give us your consent, we can check your usage and try to figure out what apps are consuming your data. Maybe there is some app consuming the bandwidth in the background and you are not aware of it.

You can try checking that on your own too – let us know if you want us to have a look at that.

We are still investigating your case, trying to find other causes for the bad speeds.

This enternet has been the worst i have ever seen or had if my speeds do not increase before my bill date this company will not receive a dime from me not only was i lied to about the length of your contract but the speeds i have been getting are ridiculous i cant watxh a show without it buffering every ten seconds on top of that some how i used all but 50 some gigs of my 150 and dont ask me how bc nothing ever loads

As indicated in our last answer, your speed tests show that something is being run together with the speed test and that something might also be the reason for your high data usage, but we can only look into your detailed usage if you give us your consent to look into it.

And if you looked at both speed tests i sent the one that was an hour after that and was slower than that one and the only usage being used was my phone to run said speed test

We want to rule out the possibility of something using your network without your knowledge, so could you run a few more speed tests, at different periods of the day, and share the results with us? I understand this can be frustrating and I apologize for the many requests.

If you give us your consent, we can also take a look at your detailed data usage to verify if there are any abnormalities.
