The Speeds Are Atrocious But Here Is A Question

I have given up on the speeds. This morning my device speed was 1.2 down and 1.7 up and the Speed Check did not even run the modem speed.

SamoSamo. However, here is a question. The Viasat Shield app allows one to view devices on the network. Does this list also include devices that are on the network via an Ethernet connection and if not how do I see those device MAC addresses?

Hi @uriqtest ,

Did you receive any error code when you ran the SpeedCheck?

Regarding your Shield question, I’ve asked the Shield team about it and they’ve informed the following:

Although the Viasat Shield app does not differentiate between ethernet and Wi-Fi connections, it shows all devices connected in both ways.

If you’d like I can send you the IP address of each device currently connected via ethernet via private message.

Thanks,
Leonardo

Yes. Send me the IP addresses.
Thanks

Hi @uriqtest ,

I’ve sent you the addresses over a private message.

Thanks,
Leonardo

Not certain what “private message” means. Is that on the Forum someplace or is it an email or what? Where do I see “private messages”?

Hi @uriqtest

You can access the private message thread with this link: RE: The Speeds Are Atrocious But Here Is A Question
