It looks like your speedchecks were run around the exact same time (late evening).

When you have some time, could you please run a few more tests today, but during different periods of the day?

Your modem speeds were only captured in 1 of the tests, so it’s possible there was a network error yesterday.

I see that your very first test yesterday was not done over a Viasat network:

When running tests on a mobile phone, it sometimes helps to disable the phone’s Mobile Data – that way it will only connect to the Wi-Fi :slight_smile:

Yes. I get good speeds during the day and horrible speeds in the evening.

According to our analysis, your internet setup has no inherent issues.

The bad speeds seen in the evening might be caused by network congestion during the peak busy period (evening hours).

Your tests show both good and bad speed results, which can be explained by the time of day they were run, as you pointed out.

Although this will not fully resolve the issue, during the peak period we’d recommend connecting fewer devices to your network, not using any VPNs, and connecting your device via Ethernet cable if possible.

I understand that this can be very frustrating and our engineers have been working hard in finding solutions to mitigate this issue which especially affects satellite internet.
