I listed in another thread but wanted to make my own.
I have the 150gb plan and we just got our high speed data back on the 16th when we were billed. Since midnight on the 16th it’s been very slow. Speed test reveal anywhere from 4 Mbps to under 2mbps. I wasn’t really given a clear answer as to why when I called several times,although a technician is supposed to come out Tuesday.
I read in another thread about a satellite issue and wanted to know if there is anyway to check if this is my issue as well.
I only have a viasat router no vpn or any other routers. I was told there was an outage in my area around midnight on the 16th but that was resolved ,on the next call I was told it was slow because it was a Saturday and there was a lot of congestion (even though I still have all my high speed data) and to just wait until today. Well today it’s the same issue with slow speeds. My daughter told me at some point last night late it seemed to speed up and resolve but then went back to being slow not long after. It’s actually worse now than it was before our billing date on the 16th before we got our hs data back.

According to what I’ve seen in the system, your issue is a different one from the ongoing issue in the other topic. We’ll investigate what is happening to your system and we’ll get back to you as soon as we have any updates or if we need any new pieces of information.

Ok,thank you ,I’ll keep checking back here to see if there is any update ,we’ve been experiencing this since the 16th seems like after we got our high speed data back. Haven’t really had this happen before,it had been working as normal prior.
My mom also has viasat and I asked her to do a speed test yesterday and it showed 1.9 Mbps dl speed for her. So she seems to be experiencing same issue. She lives next door we both have an account with viasat.
I wanted to ask if you could tell if my issues seemed to be resolved or if you knew what was causing them ? I’ve been getting better speeds for now but not sure if it’s just for now and will slow down later again. Any info on what was going on with my system ? I’m still supposed to have a tech come out tomorrow,and I’m not certain if I should still have them come out or not .

Ok,thank you. For now it’s been going much better I will see how it does tonight ,I’m just not sure if I have to keep my tech appointment now

From what I can see your tech visit was already canceled, is this correct? How is your network behaving, is everything better?

For now it seems everything is working again and my speed tests show much better download speeds. So because of that I did cancel the tech visit. I’m still not sure what happened and what made it finally start going normal and hopefully this weekend it stays going well.
