I am paying for 150Mbps but i am only seeing 40 max, the last speed test i did on speedcheck.viasat.com showed 29.2Mbps. Is this normal? To me this is unacceptable. Just got it installed today, so brand new set up. I have ethernet plugged directly into the modem that was supplied.

From what I could see, there was a fluctuation in the signal on 16 Sep; but on the following day the signal was better.

When you have a chance, please run a modem speed test, as follows:
1 - Open the Viasat browser – this test won’t work on other browsers;
2 - Go to this website: Viasat Speed Check | Home
3 - Log in using your My Viasat account
4 - Run the test (wait for both tests - modem and device - to complete)
I did some tests today and I could not reproduce the bad speeds:
