Slow Speeds August 30

Slow speeds again. Very DISAPPOINTED with Viasat. I called tech support and even upgraded supposedly to 50mbs download. Only getting 13 tonight. Their service is horrible. Has anyone used Hughes Net??
My phone hotspot can work better than Viasat for $125/mo.

I saw you sent another test this morning, however we need to check the speeds from your modem to have a better understanding of the problem.

When you have a chance, please send us the results of a full diagnosis speed test, as follows:

1 - Open the Viasat browserthis test won’t work on other browsers;
2 - Go to this website: Viasat Speed Check | Home
3 - Log in using your My Viasat account
4 - Run the test
5 - Take a screenshot of the results
6 - Send me the results

I saw the last test result you sent. The speeds were actually good at that time.

I noticed that your modem was reconnected to the network yesterday, after the change of plan. It might happen that a newly connected modem takes some extra hours to be properly adjusted.

Please let’s try the following: next time you experience again bad speeds, please take another full diagnosis speed test, is that ok?

I know that having to run those speed tests is a little bit inconvenient, I apologize for that, but it’s a valuable way of checking the situation on your side.

I want to obtain a refund for my monthly payment that was made on Oct 24. I called Viasat customer service yesterday and recorded some of the call, after your agent would not stop asking me to consider new pricing, and also started reading me a very long cancellation statement in a hard to understand accent. The agent refused to allow me to speak to a supervisor. I recorded the call because it took over 38 minutes to cancel my service, and his repeated attempts to give me a discount were insulting and disrespectful.
I want one month refund. The payment was made on Oct 24th.
My Teams Meetings lock up when I start talking. At other times, the meetings lock up when others are talking or sharing their screen.
I tested my speeds again this morning, on my Macbook pro and my work laptop, which is a brand new Framework laptop.
My upload speeds on my Framework laptop on three separate tests were, .39 , .38,
and .39.
I am going to continue to see if anyone is successful in getting a class action lawsuit against Viasat. You treat customers wanting to cancel their service terribly.
