Slow speed with Unleashed

I am on the unleashed plan, and haven’t crossed the 850GB this month, but right now I am only getting 1.7Mbps download speeds. There should be no reason for me to EVER see this slow of a speed with this plan, even if I did cross that limit. Why is it so slow right now?

I am still around 300GB away from crossing that 850GB limit. Please let me know what I can do to increase my speed. I have already rebooted the modem, and I rebooted the router I bought as well. Didn’t make it any better.

Try our new unleashed plan it’s so much better they said.

I’ve sent you a private message in our last DM thread, with some advice regarding this situation.

In the meantime, could you check if your satellite dish and antenna are still in place? I noticed that your network region suffered some bad weather during the days of April 17th, 20th and 21st (earlier today), so it’s best to confirm that you have no mispoints (or a misaligned dish).

As far as I know my dish hasn’t moved. But you know there is a chance it could have. My cats get on the roof of the house all the time so they may have bumped it. Speeds are still terrible. I should get a minimum of 20mbps device speed, but I have yet to see anywhere near that. Let me know if there’s anything you guys can do. Maybe someone might need to come out to check the dish?

I just ran a speed test and i’m getting 4.5mbps, that’s horrible.

I just saw your DMs. I’m really sorry about this situation as a whole, but we only deal with technical issues here on the Forum, and not Account or Plan-specific problems. :confused:

What I can do is request a service call to be 100% sure that your antenna is not mispointed and influencing your speeds, as you’ve mentioned the situation with the cats possibly having bumped the dish. This service call would be free of charge, as you have the EasyCare add-on.

Regarding the data/speeds queries about Unleashed: these can be explained more in-depth by the folks at Customer Care (855-463-9333), as they deal with Account issues.
