Slow Speed weak wifi signal

Slow speed, poor connectivity. Have screenshot of speed test results but don’t know how to attach pic. Speed too slow to use cnc software on line. Can’t even get to website. Download 8mbps, upload .6mbps. Think off target again. Please help or send tech.

It looks like your antenna has been mispointed for some time.

You might want to consider attempting a self-repoint. You can find information about self-repoints here: Can I repoint my Viasat antenna on my own?

If a self-repoint doesn’t sound viable, then we can request a technician visit to repoint your antenna and improve your experience.

Just tried and made it worse. I have total high frequency hearing loss and can’t hear tones well enough to point antwnnae. Even with hearing aids!!! Time to send tech please.

Unfortunetly we don’t have control over that here on the forum the field operations team is going to contact the company, but since the company you mentioned did it the first time, it is possible that the same one is going there to fix the issue for you.

Yes. It went very well. All works now but ookla speed test is much slower than your resulrs. Can you suggest a more accurate speed test for me to use.

You could also try fast.com.

That one says 17MBPS download. Better than ookla but not as good as your results.

To improve your internet experience, I made some changes to your network (which might take up to 1 hour from now to be applied).

You might still see some drop in the speed during the peak busy hours, but it should be better now.
