Hi @Hvoneiff,
Sorry about this experience. We will take a look at your account and report back here soon.
Thanks,
Nacho
Hi @Hvoneiff,
Could you please run an advanced speed test? The advanced speed test shows speeds from your modem, as follows:
1 - Open the Viasat browser – this test won’t work on other browsers;
2 - Go to this website: Viasat Speed Check | Home
3 - Log in using your My Viasat account
4 - Run the test
5 - Download the results (or take a screenshot)
6 - Send me the results in a direct message
Thanks,
Leonardo
Hi @Hvoneiff ,
I noticed your modem speeds aren’t being shown in the test. Were you using the Viasat Browser and logged in to your “My Viasat” account? The modem speeds would be really helpful in identifying where the problem might be.
Thanks,
Leonardo
Just signed into the viasat browser and ran this test. I can hardly watch tv it drops my signal
On phone drops as well and it’s so slow and I’m working from home when I signed up said I needed 100 mpbs. The man said no problem I even went to 150 so no issues I’ve had a tech out said everything was fine have called multiple times
Hi @Hvoneiff ,
It seems that the Speed check application is not recognizing your Viasat browser, which shouldn’t be happening. What device have you used to run these tests?
Secondly, regarding your speeds, we have some suspicion that it might be a Wi-Fi issue. Do you have another device where you can run tests (a laptop, for example)? If so, please run the tests over that device and share the results with us.
Thanks,
Leonardo
It was ran off viasat browser app that was toke too down load.
Here are results from a different speed test app
Hi @Hvoneiff ,
Can you inform the phone model of the phone that was used to run the speed test? Also, do you not have any other device like a laptop that could run tests as well?
Thanks,
Leonardo
Hi @Hvoneiff ,
We suspect you have a Wi-Fi issue and could greatly benefit from seeing a full-speed diagnosis like in the example below (to compare the speeds from your device to the speeds from your modem).
Unfortunately, our speed test from the modem feature is currently not working with iOS devices (such as iPhones and iPads) - Is there another device (Android phone, Windows laptop, or Mac laptop) that you could use?
Using another device to run the speed check is preferred because it is a more robust analysis, but if you don’t have one, you can try running the test with an app called Cloud Check, according to the picture below
Thanks,
Leonardo
