Hi again @Tbriggs2020 ,
I apologize for the slow reply.
We’ve been investigating your speed results and your equipment to verify a way to properly fix your signal after the last change we tried on your network segment.
The speeds had gotten better right after the change, but it seems that the configuration made was not enough long-term.
I’ll keep you posted with any solutions we come to find.
Ok, thanks for the update.
By the way, something we forgot to ask before, did you notice if these speeds issues have gotten worse after your plan change on October?
Not worse… but not much better
Tonja
Hello again @Tbriggs2020 ,
Sorry about the delay.
We’ve eliminated most factors that could be the cause of your experience with slow speeds.
According to our analysis, your internet setup no longer has any inherent issues, after the fix we rolled out to your network.
However, these speeds may be caused by network congestion during the peak busy period (evening hours).
I can see both good and bad speed results in your tests, and this fluctuation can be explained by the time of the day they were run.
During the peak period, we’d recommend connecting fewer devices to your network, not using VPN, and connecting your device via Ethernet cable if possible.
If you run out of priority data, your traffic is not prioritized and you might see slower rates too, especially during the peak busy periods.
