We cannot stream more often than we can. This happens all month and I’m pretty sure we don’t exceed our data. This is getting ridiculous!
Are you having problems when streaming? I took a look at your account and noticed that Video Data Extender is enabled. For some users this causes buffering and poor video quality. Are you finding that?
If so, I would recommend disabling it (or we can do it for you) and we can give you a data credit and you can see if the problems go away. Thoughts?
Sure, I turned it off. Thank you very much. We will see.
Hi @xloftis,
Did you notice any improvements since turning it off?
If that has not fixed the issue, let us know and we will be happy to keep looking into it.
Thanks,
Leonardo
Thanks guys, I will monitor my data better. It seems to help with that off. I thought having that on saved data by degrading picture quality.?
Hi @xloftis,
Indeed, the VDE’s purpose is to degrade the video quality in order to save data, but for some networks, it may actually cause videos to buffer and not load properly. Of course, if you have it turned off you will have to manually manage the quality of videos you watch so that they don’t spend a lot of data. I hope this information helps!
Thanks,
Leonardo
