A few months ago there was a increase in price with the statement that there would be new plans with more data and more speed. Where are those new plans? Have not seen anything.

You’ll need to call customer care at 855-463-9333 to check the available plans. They will be able to go over all options and tell you if you will need new equipment or a new contract.
You can also view your plan options on the MyViasat app or website.
I’ve checked the plans on MyViasat weekly since the price increase and the email stating they were new plans coming. The plans are the same. No new plans, nothing but a price increase. I’ve been with Viasat since the days it was known as Wildblue, over 10 years now. But to get an upgrade I have to get a all new install and sign another contract. No thanks.
This was not resolved. I had a price increase with the promise of a new plan with more data and speed. Has not happened. All I got was a price increase. Bad way to treat a long time customer.

So, there was indeed an update some time ago in the equipment lease fee, I believe that is what you’re referring to, right?
As for the other plans, the idea is to make the new ones available as soon as possible, and the company is working a lot to achieve this goal; however, I don’t know when that will happen.
Yes that was the increase and it was stated new plans would be available. So maybe they are coming in a few months? Just have to wait and see. Thanks for the info.
