Out of Gb and slow

So here we are yet again… service slow and if I could upload pictures you will see my screens spinning. Since I started my account I have never been out of Gb, well today I get a message I’m close to using my fast Gb
Then I get a message I don’t have any fast Gb.
I used the Roku to watch two little shows for the grandkids and now my service is even slower and lagging.
How does one internet provider get away with this? This is like AOL dial up back in the day!
How can you offer an internet that as soon as you stream something your Gb are used up and you want people to buy more only to last a day?
I am so baffled at all of this and what a money maker it must be for crap service.
What ever happened to one standard price of unlimited data that works even at the smallest package provided? Why would I upgrade to anything other if what I have don’t even work?
Everyday it’s a struggle to even use anything related to this internet service. I’m tired of complaining about it , for god sakes this shouldn’t be this difficult to have a decent internet. It’s not like we live in the middle of nowhere. This truly is a daily burden!

Sorry about the slow reply.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of satellite internet our available capacity is limited which is why our plans offer a limited amount of priority data per month.

Since it appears that you rarely stream video and reached your data limit accidentally, I went ahead and added some free-of-charge extra data to your account (30 GBs), hopefully this will help until the start of your next billing cycle on Nov 8.

If you receive an email saying that you purchased extra data please ignore it, I added a credit to your account, so you won’t have to pay for this extra data.

Please, could you run some speed tests? I could not find any issue at this moment:

Here are the instructions:

1 - Open the Viasat browserthis test won’t work on other browsers;
2 - Go to this website: Viasat Speed Check | Home
3 - Log in using your My Viasat account
4 - Run the test (wait for both tests - modem and device - to complete)

By following those steps, we’ll have access to the test results.

If it’s not possible to download the Viasat browser, then please run the test and send us a screenshot of the results.
