No Wifi Connectivity on Any Devices

Modem has solid blue light but not getting WiFi signal on any devices. Modem was put into bridge mode on Friday evening and needs to be turned off so we can continue to use the wifi. Modem has been rebooted and reset several times, as well as unplugged and plugged back in.

Hi @Nicolethejedi

Sorry for the experience.

The Bridge Mode setting on your modem is meant to be used when an external router is plugged in the modem, so that you use its Wi-Fi functionality instead of the built-in router on your modem. However, if your modem doesn’t detect the external router as being plugged in, you will lose Wi-Fi connectivity since the built-in router is turned off when Bridge Mode is active.

With this in mind, I’ve checked your modem and it seems that there’s no external router plugged in.

Do you have an external router that you wish to use in conjunction with your modem? If that’s not the case, I can revert your modem back to Router mode to restore the Wi-Fi network.

Hi @Nicolethejedi

I’ve checked your account today and seems like there are currently 10 devices connected to your modem.

Were you able to solve the issue with Bridge Mode?

Yes. We ended up having a service call and the technician swapped the modem and now it’s functioning properly!

Hi @Nicolethejedi

That is great news!!

I’ll mark your last answer as the Solution of this issue. :tada:
