Modem feels really hot

My modem always feels extremely hot is this normal every other modem i have had experience with never got hot

Sorry for the slow response. Unfortunately, we can not check that remotely, but I can say this:

  • Modems can get warm due to continuous operation, but they shouldn’t be extremely hot;
  • Ensure your modem has a least one inch of clearance from the front and sides airflow;
  • Make sure it’s away from heat sources and liquids;

Please check those topics I mentioned above, and if it continues to feel extremely hot, let us know here.
