Might as well not have internet at all, heavily considering disconnecting

Hiiiiii, so I know Viasat really loves to throttle internet, especially when certain applications are used, however this is a little ridiculous at this point. We have had internet speeds that have not exceeded 1mbps in over a month at least. And most of the time the speed is somewhere below 0.10mbps for download. (For context you cannot do anything, you can’t even open email in it’s base form)

Can we get a little help? Im not paying another $100 for a “worker” to come out here and do a whole lot of nothing again.

Hi @Jenboo5 ,

We’ve identified a possible fix for your issue, and made some changes to your network configuration.

These changes will be in full effect in approximately 1 hour from now.

This should make your speeds better, but please keep in mind that you are out of high-speed data and your speeds will be slower until your next cycle.

After that, could you please run a speed tests and report if the speeds improved?

Thanks,
Isabela

Speeds have not improved. This is a speedtest from the only computer hooked directly by ethernet.

Hi @Jenboo5 ,

I’m sorry, it seems like since it is Sunday the fix was not applied yet.

We will contact you once it is completed.

Thank you for your patience,
Isabela

So it is Monday now, can we get that fix installed?

Still just waiting on that fix, Can I at least get a day estimate? This is my internet right now and how it’s been for over 2 months

Hi @Jenboo5 ,

There seems to have been an error with the previous change. I’ve reapplied the change and it should be effective 1 hour from now. We apologize for the delay and for the inconvenience.

Thanks,
Leonardo

There has been no change in speeds.

Hi @Jenboo5

The fix has already been applied, but you are currently out of high-speed data, so your speeds can get deprioritized (especially during the peak evening period).

I’ve added 30 GBs of high-speed data to your account free of charge (a credit will be added with the exact amount).

Can you please run a few more speedchecks again?

Thanks!
