My internet keeps dropping for no apparent reason. That is, there are no clouds or trees in the way. It dropped 3 times today. It seems to be getting worse. The connection never seems to be very good. Are you guys having trouble with your satellite?
Hi @ctilbury
We’re currently checking your modem for any hidden faults, but the weather in the region is affecting your signal quality and creating frequent offline events.
Were you able to run any speedchecks after the last drop, to check if the speeds were lower?
This is a typical reading. The connection has dropped about 5 times today. There is no weather in the area. I expect it to drop when I have T-storms in the area. Today there was nothing. Each drop lasts between 5 and 10 minutes. The problem appeared a couple of weeks ago. It appears to be getting worse.
Hi @ctilbury
Thank you for the info and the speed test!
We’re checking internally what could be causing the drops in your modem to increase like this, and I’ll let you know as soon as we have definitive information.
Do you recall if you had any bad weather around that time? Anything that could have potentially damaged or mispointed your antenna or dish?

When you get a chance, can you please use a laptop or Android phone to run a complete speed diagnosis on https://speedcheck.viasat.com, with the Viasat Browser?
This will help us get a full reading on the speed situation and allow us to identify/rule out Wi-Fi or weather issues. You can follow our guide: How to run a complete speed diagnosis
