Will Global Protect VPN work with Viasat?

Can you confirm that your Global Protect VPN is using IPSEC in the tunnel? In general, end-to-end VPNs result in lower speeds over satellite. See VPN over Satellite - Project Faster. But maybe you can provide some specifics so we can be sure this is the case for Global Protect.
