Last month I switched plans from a 60 gb plan to a 100 gb plan. In doing so I lost data extender and am using huge amounts of data. With data extender I only occasionally had to purchase extra data. With this new plan without it, not even a month in and I am already at the point of having to purchase more. This is ridiculous. I’m not streaming any more than I was before.
The Video Data Extender was disabled across all plans. This has had what seems like a very positive impact on reducing the amount of freezing/buffering of videos but some users report not ever having had those type of problems. We are working to better understand this. In the meantime, did you try setting video quality manually either via device settings or at the streaming provider as per this How do I manually set video quality at streaming video sites?
