I was looking at my data usage trying to see why I am already at 70% with less than half my time gone. I had a big jump in my data usage where I used like 100 GB in one day (Jan 24). I would like to know if that data was incoming to me out outgoing and where it went/came from. I need to prevent this from happening in the future. Thanks.
I’ll send you a report on that usage spike in a private message
Hi again @ctilbury
I’ve sent you the full report for the week of January 24 to January 27.
Let me know if you don’t receive it!
I have it. It’s odd that there’s traffic on an apple device, since we don’t have any. But the gaming traffic is not unexpected. I need to change the password again.
Is your Wi-Fi currently set to Public?
If you don’t recognize the device, yes, changing the password is a good first step, but you can always hide the Network Name as well if you believe someone may have access to the network.
On the New Password screen, the last option will be the SSID Broadcast:
Setting this to Private will hide your network name from the list of Available Wi-Fi Networks on nearby devices.
PS: Just don’t forget to write down the Network Name before hiding it.
